Get in a Cuban state of mind Sunday for the opening of “Unbroken Ties: Dialogues In Cuban Art (Sin rupturas).” Smoke a cigar, sip café con leche, or listen to a Celia Cruz CD before heading over to the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale (1 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale), where you’ll experience 76 paintings, photographs, graphics, videos, and installations by nearly 60 artists. As if you needed more incentive to investigate, a free lecture and panel discussion, art roundtable, and gallery talk will also be offered that day (reservations required), along with complimentary illy coffee served before 11 a.m. as part of an April promotion for the Museum’s Café and Wine Bar. Tickets cost $7 to $10. Call 954-525-5500 for more information, or visit www.moafl.org.
