Michele Lowes Mezzulah, 1946 tells the story of a young woman who isn't quite ready to leave the production line. The titular character is a strong, 19-year-old Boeing airplane plant employee who refuses to settle for domestic life. See, Mezzulah never went to school for aeronautical training. But she has a hunch about what the next generation of planes should look like. "[She's] an iconic American woman, a genius denied," says the play's Producing Director Louis Tyrrell. "She is an everywoman with both strength and vulnerability.
