Since prehistoric humans first started pondering things, we all have been fascinated by the moon. What’s it doing up there? Is it made of cheese? It makes werewolves, brings out the lunatics, and controls the tides! OK, yeah, it definitely controls the tides, but the rest was merely myth, well, until now. For there is this one creature that’s part werewolf, part lunatic, part cheese that’s brought out by the lunar light. The Ritz-Carlton in Fort Lauderdale (1 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd., Fort Lauderdale) will host a Full Moon party from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday to round them up: the Entourage men. Yes, HBO’s answer to all those guys who watched Sex and the City and thought, “Hey, no fair!” — that’s the theme of this month’s full-moon party. If you’re a guy who has always wanted to preen on the red carpet while clinging desperately to the coattails of your one talented friend and pretending you’re then talented by association, this party’s for you! Everyone else, hey, at least they’ll all be in one place for once. There’s no cover charge to get in, and $5 valet parking will have you feeling like one of the crew.
