Think twice about starting a fire and asking for Mr. July when you call 911. After all, arson is illegal, and while he may be packing a big hose, he’ll be fully clothed, which pretty much defeats the purpose of calling in the first place.

Yet fear not, ladies (and select gentlemen!), because you can fuel your lusty flames with 20 firefighters who put South Florida’s sweltering heat to shame this Thursday at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for the unveiling of the 2011 South Florida Firefighters Calendar. And if you feel bad about objectifying men, you can gawk and grope, if you dare, with a clear conscience, because these honorable men are baring their bodies for not one but two charities: Here’s Help and A Safe Haven for Newborns. There’s no cover for this event, but the $17 calendar will give you an excuse to get up close and personal with these heroic beefcakes as they prowl the club district — and without any jail time or shame. Their shirts come off at 7 p.m. sharp at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood). You can catch a preview of the studs and get more info at firefighterscalendar.com.
