Grady's Bar

Fort Lauderdale is filled with a colorful array of hidden dives, including the 70-something-year-old Grady's Bar. This is a locals-only spot and certainly not for the weak-hearted. The dim interior is somewhat reminiscent of an old moose lodge with drop ceilings, cigarette machines, and wood laminate walls. Grady's even has a shrine dedicated to itself. The jukebox is filled with music gems of yesteryear, and the patrons aren't shy about doing a little impromptu dancing. There's one pool table and a few videogames for extra entertainment, but the guy sitting next to you is probably more interesting. The drinks are some of the cheapest in town, but credit cards won't get you anywhere, so remember to bring cash.
