If you can't find much info about Long Island-based punks As Tall as Lions, you can always check out their My Space account (www.myspace.com/astallaslions/) -- you know, the place where everyone went when they "got tired" of Friendster. Once you get there, you'll see ATAL has 485 friends who are willing to pledge their allegiance to this four-piece's melodic, spacey brand of indie rock. The band's bio on My Space describes the newer songs on its album Lafcadio as "not so emo," so don't even think they're trying to match wits with that Carrabba guy (who has 2,226 friends on his My Space account). Sure, the album has a song called "Why We Cry at Movies," but I bet the band watches porn on its tour bus. -- Audra Schroeder
