Dr. Sketchy is not a practicing physician, however, but an alternative drawing concept that has spread like gangbusters across the globe. Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School adds a raucous and raunchy flair to the normally drab figure-drawing class by infusing it with alcohol and using unorthodox models, such as burlesque dancers, to enliven the mood. - Alex Rendon

42nd-Annual Seminole Tribal Fair
9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday @ Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood, 1 Seminole Way in Hollywood. Free.

Learn some Florida history they probably didn't teach you in school st the 42nd-Annual Seminole Tribal Fair. This free, alcohol-free, family-friendly event celebrates the history and culture of the people native to this area we all now call home. There will be folk music, alligator wrestling, traditional crafts, and even a Seminole fashion show.

"Sleepless in Boca" with the Sick Puppies Comedy Improv Troupe

If you're not familiar with improv, go on YouTube and look up "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" Not all improv is Comedy Central-worthy of course, so a good natured, open-minded audience is important. But, if you like your performances of the unscripted sort, Sick Puppies Improv Troupe is just the thing for you. These are locals, and they're always open to brave new members.

There's no denying that walk/run season is in full swing in the balmy glory of our South Florida winter. If you like your exercise with a side of feel-good beneficence, check out the Sixth-Annual I Care I Cure... I Run 5K at the BB&T Center (formerly the BankAtlantic Center) to raise funds for the I Care I Cure Childhood Cancer Foundation.
