The annual Retro Indie Market returns this Saturday. There will be antiques, vintage stuff, pyrex, crafts, baked goods, and more. Brought to by the same ladies - Amanda Linton and Michelle Parparian - that bring you Stitch Rock in Delray Beach every October, the Retro Indie Market should help you get your indie fix and support local businesses at the same time - really local, like artist working in mom's garage local. The first 100 people through the door get a goody bag full of surprises.

Bring your guitar, your horn, your harmonica, any instrument you can carry or just your voice to the Homemade Jam Session. You have to sign up first, but then you are welcome to come to the stage and join a rotating collection of musicians engaged in an all night session. Like a relay race where speed is not important, one or two musicians will leave the stage as others take their seats. Afterward, puff on $10 hookahs for sheer delight and enjoy the rest of the homegrown talent.

Prohibition Ride
8 to 9:45 p.m. Cooley's Landing, Fourth Court in Fort Lauderdale and ending at Tap 42, 1411 S. Andrews Ave. in Fort Lauderdale. Join Fort Lauderdale Critical Mass's Facebook group for more information. Free.
This is an medium-difficulty ride with a friendly group through downtown Fort Lauderdale that almost any level rider can join. Make sure you have a helmet and a light. About 15 miles, the pace is fast (17 to 20 mph) but not "stupid fast." After leaving from Cooley's Landing at 8:15 p.m. sharp, the group can be met up with at Las olas/A1A between 8:50 and :55 for a regroup and a break at the 7-11, before moving on to finish up at Tap 42 for $5 Prohibition burgers.
