Downtown Hollywood's Native Florida Tap Room serves as an appropriately named venue for this Saturday-night show, which groups together some of the area's homegrown legends. At the helm is the infamous Blowfly, the soul and rap legend who's enjoying a bit of a renaissance helped along by the recent documentary The Weird World of Blowfly. Fans can rest assured that, even at 67, he's as nasty as ever. Supporting him here is Charlie Pickett, the alt-Americana local legend turned lawyer who still moonlights playing killer, roughed-up roots rock. The Instant Whips, who round out the bill, also boast a long South Florida scene pedigree — the members had past stints in acts like the Creepy Ts and the Ruins.
