South Florida, it's about that time. It's time for Ultra Music Festival! Put on your furry boots and get out your map of music, then try to see as many acts as you possibly can.

As a dance music DJ, I have to say that I have a love/hate relationship with Ultra. I find myself running around to different events all around Miami during this week, and by the time I make it there, I am beyond exhausted and overwhelmed. But seeing all these big-time acts in my own city makes it so worth it, and the second the first artist goes onstage, I immediately forget that I am tired.

I've put together a list of ten acts I definitely do not want to miss. Most of these are ones you may not have been thinking of, but since you have everything within walking distance, try to check out something different here and there. See you at the function!

10. Annie Mac Presents at Ultra
Not only is Annie Mac an extremely popular prime-time radio DJ in the U.K.; she is also a touring DJ headlining clubs all over the world. She is a dance-music guru and has been introducing her fans to new electronic artists for years now. At Ultra, she'll have her own stage to hold her Annie Mac Presents party here in South Florida. You don't want to miss a lineup like this. I always find myself wishing I could be at the shows she announces on her blog, and now it's actually possible!

9. Afrobeta
I had never heard of Afrobeta before living in Miami. Dance-music lovers in this city go crazy for them. I am excited to see what the hype is all about. Catch me on the dance floor during their performance.

8. 2ManyDJs LIVE
If you haven't seen these guys, I can confidently tell you that they will play one of the most amazing DJ sets you have ever heard. And, they put on a mind-blowing live show (as Soulwax). I would never miss 2ManyDJs. I see them every time I can, and I have never been disappointed.

7. Little Dragon
Little Dragon will save your life. I am not the biggest band person, but these guys have a flawless album and emotional videos, put on a killer live show, and have the most incredible lead singer.

6. Kraftwerk
I shouldn't have to tell you why you should not miss this. I cannot believe South Florida gets to see Kraftwerk in 2012.

5. Skream and Benga
With dubstep's quick rise to being one of the most popular genres across the USA, why not check out the OGs? They practically invented this music.

4. Katy B
Katy B is all the rage in the U.K. and Europe. She is finally becoming popular in the USA, and I would love to go check her out. She has a great voice, and her songs are quite infectious, so I am hopeful she'll be the same live.

3. Duck Sauce
A-Trak and Armand Van Helden together? I gotta see this.

2. DJ Shadow
Every DJ has a big nerd inside him who wants to go see DJ Shadow whether he wants to admit it or not. Legend.

1. Tiësto
Because when in Rome...
