Exposé is a Miami born freestyle group from the 80's with a contentious history full of label problems, legal disputes, and a revolving cast of members. But before all that drama, they were on top of the world with a hit record called "Point Of No Return," a classic that still sees radio play today.

One of the group's founding members is Laurie Miller, a talented performer still working in the entertainment industry. Yesterday she placed the above video on her YouTube channel. It's a mini documentary made up of media coverage of Exposé and live performance footage. The vid also features a young Dwight Lauderdale, South Florida's first African-American TV news anchor.

Exposé's contributions to chonga culture are innumerable. Note the hair, the fashion, the overt sexuality, the dance moves; they're all being recycled by entertainers to this day. By the way,  one time for Hialeah SpringFest. Hialeah stand up. Enjoy the movie, and holler at Laurie Miller via email at [email protected].
