It might be Friday the 13th, but lucky for you, we've got a handful of events that should help keep your weekend from going awry. Best of all, at $10 or less, they're all also budget-friendly!

From the new Black Fridays at the Vagabond to the return of Mikey Ramirez's Splatter-Rama night at Cinema Paradiso, here are five events under $10 for a guaranteed weekend of semi-ghoulish fun (it's still only September, after all.)

False Flags. With Sharlyn Evertsz. 9 p.m., Saturday, September 14 at Respectable Street, 518 Clematis Steet, West Palm Beach. $5. Visit Facebook.

Ever heard of New-Grave? Neither had we. But that's the sound of Miami's alt-indie outfit False Flags, performing this Saturday at Respectable Street.

September Night Sound Waves. With Kmac & Wall, 84 Sheepdog, Joe Tiki, J.20 & Smooth, Tevintevin, Antidote, Lftdlvls, and Alex Campbell. 9 p.m., Friday, September 13 at the Speak Easy Lounge, 129 N Federal Hwy, Lake Worth. $ . Visit Facebook.

Raider Klan might be holding down the rap game in the 305 right now, but who says there isn't a hotbed for hip-hop north of the county line? Engineered by West Palm Beach producer Nick Tha EnginEEaR, this event will bring the beats and rhymes you seek.

Black Fridays. With Ketchy Shuby, Astari Nite, the Goddamn Hustle, and DJs Lorenzo, Fernandez, LinderSMASH, Kaos, and DeadHead. 10 p.m., Friday, September 13 at the Vagabond, 30 NE 14th St., Miami. Free before midnight. Visit Facebook.

For a little over a year, Mike Linder filled Green Room with dark dance tunes and a crowd that loves the nighttime with Black Fridays. For the first time this Friday, it makes its new home at the Vagabond in Miami.

Art Walk Beer Garden and Loose Joints After Party. With Mr. Brown. Saturday, September 14, 6 p.m., Gramps, 176 NW 24th St., Miami; 786-752-6693; grampsbar.com. RSVP required at [email protected].

By now you've heard of Second Saturday Art Walks, the carnival-esque monthly night of art, booze, and good vibes that happens in Miami's buzzing Wynwood neighborhood. Why not make it your mission to check it out this Saturday? Stop by Gramps Bar first for free barbecue by Sparky's Roadside Barbecue and Duvel beer to get your creative juices flowing, then head back to Gramps after you've explored all the arts to get funky with the DJs of Loose Joints.

Splatter-Rama.7 p.m., Saturday, September 14, at Cinema Paradiso, 503 SE 6th Street, Fort Lauderdale. $10 entrance, includes raffle, and parking is free. Visit fliff.com or the event Facebook page.

For those who get all tingly over smashed guts and bloody faces on the big screen, this Saturday brings with it a delightful surprise. Brought to you by Mikey Ramirez, the same mastermind behind Fort Lauderdale's Radio-Active Records, Splatter-Rama returns to Cinema Paradiso with the goriest, most vile double feature around. This month features two ghoulish "night" films: Night of the Demons and Night of the Creeps.
