The inaugural III Points Music, Art, and Technology Festival is upon us, and even though it might seem tough traversing all three days of this fledgling fest all the way down in the 305, it's definitely worth checking out at least one night. Why not stop by Wynwood tonight for a free DJ set by nu-disco champ Juan MacLean of famed NYC-based electronic label DFA Records? Also performing are international artists like Dat Politics and Molly Nilsson, along with Miami's Dino Felipe and Whorish Boorish.

Fort Lauderdale's the Butchers only care about one thing: Delivering the 100% pure, bona fide sound of that crazy rock 'n' roll music to your ears. West Palm-based band Lavola make atmospheric indie-rock music that "speaks volumes to the masochists in us all." Combining abrasive, dissonant sounds with melodic bliss, the band compares itself to rock legends like Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, and Queens of the Stone Age. This Saturday, they'll play a free show at the Dubliner Fort Lauderdale, with resident DJ Andie Sweetswirl spinning the indie-dance and nu-disco goodness before and after the show.

The 7th annual Stitch Rock craft fair is bringing back old school crafting techniques with a new school flare. Over 80 vendors will present uncommon handmade goods for purchase, among them DIY fashions, funky home decor items, natural bath and body products, vintage collectibles, hot rod paintings, pin-up photography, and more. Arrive early to be one of 100 people to receive a free "swag bag," and stay 'til 3 p.m. for the DIY fashion show. Parking is free in the nearby garage.

Kreepy Tiki, your resident rockabilly biker ride-up and tattoo lounge, is celebrating the 57th anniversary of the rock 'n' roll cult movie classic, Rock, Rock, Rock, starring Jimmy Cavallo, Chuck Berry, and others. In order to do it proper justice, they're bringing in the rock 'n' roll legend himself, Jimmy Cavallo & the Houserockers, along with a "Pin-Up Party Dolls" show by the ladies of Cupcake Burlesque, a dance party by DJ Ronn, and free professional swing dance lessons from 8 to 9 p.m. with the Swing Kids.
