This track is 99% guaranteed to make a girl's heart swell with music-based love purely based on the romantic story of singers Alex Ebert and Jade Castrinos. Maybe you and your date can even do the call and response, mating call part.
3. "When I'm With You" - Best Coast
For the female of the species, any song that references the two of you having fun and being together, like forever, is a winner. But, you might want to stray away from taking her out on a date dressed up as ol' Ronald McDonald... Unless she's a Juggalette.

This is definitely the quintessential go-to sensitive indie guy song to put on a mixtape for your crush. Fair warning, playing this in the bedroom might make your lady fantasize that she's with Conor, not you. No offense.

"Closer" literally talks about getting physical. No reading between the lines here with this track. It's a Valentine's day Urban Outfitters panty dropper.
