5. The Whiskey Wasps' First Live Album Recording
8 p.m. Friday, Kismet Vintage, 157 NE Second Ave., Delray Beach. No cover. Visit Facebook.

Have you seen that super cute movie Begin Again with Mark Ruffalo and Keira Knightley, where the two lost souls run around NYC recording a live album outdoors to the accompaniment of gritty city sounds and random stranger cameos? Yeah, us either... (It's on Netflix for your next "chill").

Husband and wife Billy Schmidt and Rachel DuVall (of Raggy Monster) have formed a new band together called The Whiskey Wasps, and they're kinda giving us the same vibe. The duo have invited friends and fans to join in on their first-ever album recording, totally live, at Kismet Vintage in Delray. Sure, it's not the exact same thing as the aforementioned romantic musical, but it sure does give us a similar warm-fuzzy feeling. Be there to feel all the feels together, and maybe make your own special contribution to the live album.

4. Dada's 15th Anniversary Party
5 p.m. Saturday, September 19 at Dada, 52 N, Swinton Ave., Delray Beach. No cover. Visit Facebook.

I don't know about you, but our 15th birthday party involved swimming in our parents' pool and playing Mario Party on N64 while eating Papa John's pizza. Delray's beloved Dada has turned 15, and, well, their party is actually cool.

Locals Whiskey Wasps are back at it this Saturday night to help celebrate, along with The Living Daylights, and the Dada crew will provide drink specials plus free appetizers after midnight. Tell me: When was the last time you went to a 15th birthday that was this badass?

3. Night Owl Market Street Festival
5 p.m. Saturday, September 19 at 310 NE Sixth St., Fort Lauderdale. No cover. Visit Facebook.

This regular event in Fort Lauderdale's Flagler Village is chock-full of fun stuff that you'd be straight up silly not to want to get after. We're talking handcrafted wares from all yer favorite local, independent artisans, vintage and boutique pop-up shops, over 20 gourmet food trucks, free trees (no, not that kind), and live local music by Anastasia Max, Deaf Poets, Zoo Peculiar. Still not sold? How's about free beer for those who count themselves among the 21+ set? Yes, FREE BEER, all night. That got your attention, didn't it?

2. Endless Fight Booking Artists and Show at Inkwell Pub
8 p.m. Sunday, September 20 at Inkwell Pub, 238 N. State Rd. 7, Margate. $5 cover. Visit Facebook

Five bucks normally couldn't get you past the front door of a show this heavy, much less access to all eight face-melting acts. Endless Fight Booking and Inkwell Pub, however, change that. Swing on by to the Margate bar for a healthy serving of metal and hardcore music with bands Load In, Gouge Away, Trust No One, and Dwell. Rumor has it their music is just as angsty as their monikers.

1. Green Jelly, The Muggles, Operative Me, Kocosante
8 p.m. Friday, September 18. Propaganda Lake Worth, 6 S. J St., Lake Worth. $10 advance cover. Visit Facebook

Comedic band Green Jelly makes its revisit to Propaganda accompanied by local bands The Muggles, Operative Me, and Kocosante. The event promises a “giant punk rock puppet circle pit," which, we think, is extremely difficult to come by nowadays. Also available for the drinking are two-for-one cocktails and half-off drafts during happy hour, which is from 8 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance, but they’re $15 at the door, so buy ahead to save some of that precious mu-lah.
