Boyton Beach Art District once again hosts its monthly art walk, but this weekend, there's something a little different. Its the event's fourth year anniversary and the final art walk of the year. Expect open studios, food trucks by Ps561, and live music by She's Neurotic, John Greco Band, and Montage.
If you miss it, you'll unfortunately have to wait till January 2015 when the party resumes with Art Synergy's Art Week 2015 in conjunction with Art Palm Beach. In other words, leave happy hour early to delve into a night full of quality local music and art. Hell, pour your leftover two-for-one drink in a flask if you have to. Just get BBAD tonight.

4. Unlimited Devotion: A Tribute to the Grateful Dead

This Friday, Grateful Dead cover band Unlimited Devotion will summon Jerry Garcia's spirit with sound at the Funky Biscuit. And to get that old deadhead feeling going, you only have to pay a mere 5 bones in advance. For all you millennials out there, think of this as a chance to travel through time to simpler days of tie-dye and braids.
3. Meg Wheeler at the Beat Cup Cafe

Singer/songwriter Meg Wheeler will be gracing the cozy Beat Cup Café this Saturday with some of her smooth and lovely tunes. You can stuff your face with delicious empanadas of almost any flavor like pizza, Philly cheese steak, and curry. Compliment your food with Panther Coffee, mate tea from Brazil, beer and wine. Art by Matt O'Connell will top off this locally brewed event.
2. Red Shadows Masquerade Ball
10 p.m., Friday, October 24, at Respectable Street, 518 Clematis St., West Palm Beach. Visit Facebook.
Taking a cue from Romeo and Juliet, West Palm's Respectable Street will be hosting a masquerade ball, minus all the killing, of course. Don some old school threads and check out some classic Goth and industrial sounds. Jeffrey Wrye and Allan will be providing the tunes. Not to mention, the entire bar will be half off until midnight along with $3 Yuenglings and Jameson shots. Clearly Shakespeare was on to something.
1. Official Closing Party for Tobacco Road

We decided to include a field trip event on this list, something outside of the usual Broward and Palm Beach realm. Tobacco Road, maybe Miami's oldest running bar, is officially closing for good. So, in typical Miami fashion, a huge hoorah will be held to commemorate the greasy burgers, crazy events held there, and of course, endless drinking. Hosted by Mark Weiser, tunes will be provided by Afrobeta, the Eclectics, the Hongs, the Oski Foundation, Eric Vick Band, Juke, and more. We couldn't think of a better way to say goodbye to a bar that's over 100 years old.
Alas, there is also a Kickstarter project to try to salvage this historical bar if you wish to contribute.
