Not sure which happened first, but Justin Bieber's Rolling Stone cover story features some frank discussions of his sex life, and the pictures accompanying it were taken by the controversial photographer Terry Richardson.
Richardson is known for disrobing himself to get his subjects comfortable with their own oft-nude bodies in shoots -- and is quite comfortable confirming that fact. No suggestion whatsoever that this happened here, but still a curious choice for the youthful Biebs. County Grind is feeling prudish today!
Anyhow, hanging out with the ribald Richardson would be a great warm-up for the interview to follow.
Vanessa Grigoriadis went out of her way to get some insight on the 16-year-old's bedroom behavior in the piece.
"I don't think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them,"Now, obviously every reporter has to do their job and report the "facts," but that whole paraphrased exchange makes us cringe a tiny bit. Kind of like when we saw this PETA ad, or those Vanity Fair shots. The rest of the story hits stands on Friday. Of course, we'll be picking up the issue to find out about the return of both Beavis and Butthead and the Cars (!) -- two entities that have been dormant for most of Bieber's life.Bieber says. When asked if he believes in abstinence until marriage,
Bieber - who is reportedly dating fellow teen star Selena Gomez - seems
wary: "I think you should just wait for the person you're...in love
with."
Near the end of their time together Grigoriadis caught a glimpse ofBieber's desktop image on his laptop: It was him and Gomez against an
orange sunset. Bieber quickly closed the computer when he noticed that
Grigoriadis had seen the picture.
