Nestled in an expanse of urban sprawl just north of the airport is Kreepy Tiki Tattoos, a high-end tattoo parlor that is reminiscent of a turn of the century swanky island paradise. It's decked from top to bottom with retro tiki mugs, candlelit shrines, and vintage furniture and the buzz of modern electric tattooing is heard over nostalgic bluesy jams.

Kreepy Tiki is home to some of the most talented artists this side of the Mississippi, all of whom have helped build and expand owner and tattooer Jackson Valiente's empire. Amidst the BOGO tatties (and consequently gnarly strains of Hepatitis) and garage zappers that come a dime a dozen, Valiente and his gang of top notch artists have made quite a name for themselves.

In honor of the five year anniversary of the Kreepy Tiki, the shop is inviting friends, family, and clients to celebrate in true Kreepy style this Friday, February 8. Along with a several tattoo specials, the adjoining 5 Points Lounge will play host to a wild line up of jukejoint favs Los Bastardos Magnificos,Serious Sam Barrett, andthe Pine Hill Haints.

Kreepy Tiki Tattoos is located at 2606 South Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. Entry to the Kreepy Tiki 5 Year Anniversary party is $15 with happy hour drink specials at 5 Points Lounge until 8 p.m. and other specials all night. Parking is free in the lot in the rear of the building, show starts at 10 p.m.
