Every Tuesday night for the past month, Churchill's, that kettle of ever-boiling testosterone, has been taken over by women -- and not half-naked mud wrestlers. Twenty-three-year-old Laura Sutnick and friends Lauren Reskin and Suzy Herzfeld initially put together a night at the Miami club to watch the Showtime series The L Word. That show went off the air, but the owners loved the crowd so much, they asked Sutnick to come back the next week. "And that's how it started," Sutnick says. "We just wanted a night for girls to go out and have fun and get rowdy." Indeed, their mission statement invites women of all ages and orientations "who want to socialize with other crazy bitches and party." Past nights have included live music from the Remnants, Karma, the Freakin' Hott, and AKA; drag karaoke; basket weaving; "chick flicks" on the back patio; and sets by Sutnick (who spins under the name DJ Lahora) and DJ Lolo, who spin everything from hip-hop to surf rock. The only requirement is that you show off your ladyballs. -- Audra Schroeder
