Although some of us are too old to go "Back 2 School," we ain't ashamed to catch a concert in honor of the final days of summer. But with that kind of grammar, maybe a return to elementary school isn't such a bad idea...

Whether you're too old or just young enough, this Saturday, West Palm Beach's the Box Expo Center is hosting four young dudes who form the boy band Mindless Behavior. These young rap and R&B singers do a lot except encourage what their name suggests.

Consisting of Prodigy, Ray Ray, Roc Royal, and Princeton, the band was nominated for 2011 Viewer's Choice BET Award, sold more than 845,000 in singles, and even performed at the Kids' Inaugural concert in D.C. Their album All Around the World includes production work by Sean Garrett -- whose other collaborations include Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj -- and Walter Millsap, who has worked with Beyoncé and Timbaland.

For those interested in a boogie, show off your skills at a true dance-off. And for those who more concerned with the serious side of life, a guest speaker will address the topic of bullying. Sevak Girard, who works at the Box, believes this is an important subject matter that deserves to be discussed.

"It's a hot topic of conversation," he says. "Mindless Behavior is a type of boy band that is full of positivity. They promote no negativity." He also adds that this is a relevant subject, as kids will be heading back to classrooms very soon.

Created about three years ago by H. Alan Welles, the Box Expo Center has experienced a slew of rap royalty performances, including Juvenile, Ace Hood, and hip-hop sex pot Lil Kim. This venue has over 16,000-square feet of space and offers smaller spaces for less huge shows. But for this concert, just expect some little guy with big talent.

Back 2 School with Mindless Behavior. 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 31, at the Box Expo Center, 2223 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd‎, West Palm Beach. Tickets cost $38 for general admission and $100 for VIP. For tickets for upcoming shows or for reserving events, call 561-689-0004 or visit theboxwpb.com.
