RIP the Clementines. Long live Ski Lodge! The gifted pop songcraft of Andrew Marr lives on with this new project that has most adorable promotional material this side of Gorillaz. Of course, the tune we've just heard is abominable in its own right.

Lyrically, the context of "A Game" is the "life is a game" type as opposed to "bringing your A-game." Fortunately, Marr does that too on this bright twirling of guitars that will remind you of the many sides of Unicorns/Islands frontman Nick Diamonds. Add to the Islands comparisons with the knowledge that Marr is hoping to recruit a violinist to record some stuff soon.
