You know what the second best thing you can possibly experience on Saint Patrick's Day is? Catching U2 by UV's Michael Schmidt -- a Bono look- and sound-alike -- live, dominating U2's classic tunes at Murphy's Law in Hollywood. The first, of course, is actually watching Bono belt out "Sunday Bloody Sunday" with The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen, Jr. at his side.

U2 by UV will again headline a wild weekend celebration of this most drunken and jolly of holidays right here in South Florida.

The popular pub is hosting a massive St. Paddy's Day blow out block party again at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. So, basically, get ready to chug green beer, shoot tons of Jameson, grub on corned beef and cabbage, and then gamble your life away at the high stakes poker table, or at least try your luck at the slots.

Yes, there will be beauties dressed in the tightest green tops, men determined to show their Irish-ness by wearing shamrocks on their head, bum, or arms. But we think it's wisest to just follow the nearest leprechaun to the end of any rainbow on a mission for a pot of casino real gold.

There will be step dancers from the Drake School of Irish Dance from 6 to 9 p.m. U2 by UV will perform two shows, at 6 and 10 p.m., followed by Havoc 305 Band at 11 p.m., enhanced by Irish DJ Malone and actual bagpipers. The party starts a few days before the actual holiday, so you can basically get sloshed and stay silly through till Monday, March 17.

There's not much more to say but, Sláinte!
