How long have you dreamed of writing subversive prose for a counterculture alt weekly? Forever, right? Well, your chance has finally arrived. The ultimate local source for all things news and cultural, New Times Broward-Palm Beach, is looking for freelancers to contribute to its music and calendar sections.

Applicants should have writing clips, a résumé, a (passing) familiarity with the English language, and a friendly willingness to be edited. Payment is made upon publication. If you are not already an avid New Times reader, please pick up an issue, or hit up BrowardPalmBeach.com and join the family.

Send your information to Arts & Culture Editor Rebecca Dittmar at [email protected]. No phone calls, please. Finalists will be asked to write a test piece.
