"The Night Owl Market is the first of its kind in Broward County," says founder and CEO of Indie Craft Bazaar Amanda Weiner. She's also organizing this newest crafty venture, calling it, "a fusion of craft fair, community event, block party, and small business mixer, all strung together in benefit of the non-profit Flagler Civic Association's newest project, a community garden." This new nighttime shopping extravaganza is kicking off as part of the FAT Village art walk this Saturday with the purpose of giving back to the community. Donations will benefit the greening of Fort Lauderdale.

"Our vision is to inspire positive change through a grassroots effort," notes Flagler Village Community Service Chairman Chad Scott. "Although all proceeds of the event go directly to the Flagler Village Civic Association to fund a new Community Garden approved in the neighborhood, the true charity of the Night Owl Market is engaging the community while promoting culture and giving exposure to local businesses."

To do this, Weiner and crew will bring out food trucks and vendors selling art, jewelry, handmade goods, and vintage items. Expect free cocktails by Herradura Tequila and Little Black Dress Vodka, complimentary wine, and fancy pants craft beer. DJ Mikey Ramirez of Radio-Active Records will be spinning and inspiring you to pick up some kick ass records for sale onsite. Weiner gave us a heads up on which vendors to look out for, so click over to find out where you should start your late night shopping experience.

Joji Frozen Yogurt
Joji Frozen Yogurt, Weiner describes as, "a brand new glow in dark, self serve frozen yogurt food truck." Is the yogurt glow in the dark or truck? Gotta go to answer that one.
