After witnessing Odd Future, those provocative young rapper chaps from Los Angeles, on the mtvU Woodie Awards, it's hard to imagine enjoying anything more. Start with a pint-sized guy dressed in knee-high socks and a green ski mask like Tyler, the Creator, lead up to a confrontation between Tyler Jr. and Tyler Sr., blast a whole bunch of garden gnomes on the video screens and, uh, need I say more?

A stage-diving melee that unfolds as the Odd Future family performs

Tyler's excellent "Yonkers," as well as "Sandwitches," the song that set Jimmy Fallon ablaze. Now there could've been explicit instructions from the security team that stage-diving was a no-no. Either that, or the big, burly security guards unleashed with perfect timing at the end to the protest of someone in a chicken costume were actually bait for this very blog entry and many others just like it to follow. Regardless, gripping viewing is below.
