Robin Gibb, former member of the Bee Gees, passed away today in London at 62 years old. The causes of death, according to the New York Times, were complications related to cancer and intestinal surgery.
Robin, who performed with his twin Maurice and older brother Barry, was known as the quiet Bee Gee. The group brought disco to the masses via South Florida -- a place that remained home to all three of them. Robin and his wife, Dwina Murphy, had both a house in Miami and lived in a converted former monastery in the U.K.
Of the four Gibb brothers, three of whom performed as the Bee Gees, only Barry survives his siblings.
