Not even Satan's minions could keep Hurricane Frances at bay back in September. Her wrathful weather prevented Ozzfest 2004 from reaching South Florida. The seas are calmer now, but Slayer most certainly is not, bringing its devilishly decadent speed metal to the far more intimate confines of Revolution, where weaklings like minister Bob Larson will have nowhere to hide. Slayer, Mastodon, and Killswitch Engage invade Revolution, 200 W. Broward Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, at 7 p.m. Saturday, November 27. Call 954-727-0950. Tickets cost $26.
