Fresh off a heavy breakup and currently binging Bridget Jones’ Diary? Yet to find that someone who turns your stomach into heart-shaped Jell-O? Well, you don't need a hand to hold to be happy this February 14!

Valentine's Day is just a Hallmark holiday whose chocolate and superfluous gift-giving rituals will only set you back on your fitness and finance goals anyway. So cheer up, because there are plenty of reasons to celebrate being single this Valentine's Day, and we've put together this playlist of independence-praising party anthems to help you and your fellow stag hotties get down this weekend.

10. Jason Derulo, “Ridin’ Solo”
“Finally doin’ me, and it feels so right.” You’ve got a decent job and a nice apartment, and you can actually afford to buy food that isn’t ramen or from Burger King. You’re doing great!

9. Kool and the Gang, “Ladies' Night”  A classic disco jam that never goes out of style. Appreciate this time with your fellow females, and boogie as hard as these guys do.

8. Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa, “Young, Wild & Free (feat. Bruno Mars)”  So what, you get drunk? So what, you smoke weed? You aren’t afraid to embrace your youth and tell the old geezers to suck it.

7. Kid Cudi feat. MGMT and Ratatat, “Pursuit of Happiness (Nightmare) - Steve Aoki Remix”
Sure, the original slow jam is great, but Steve Aoki’s version gets your heart pumping and loving life as a single. Maybe everything that shines ain’t always gonna be gold, but at least you’ve got your posse to lift you up.

6. Justin Timberlake, “Cry Me a River”  Your ex cheated on you with that girl you saw him giving the eye to? Put down your pint of Ben & Jerry’s and sway to this song instead. He will eventually cry and beg for you all he wants — but you've got JT.
5. Diana Ross, “I’m Coming Out”  “I’ve got to show the world/All I want to be/And all my abilities.” You rock your new, stronger self and come out of your shell. Diana would want that.

4. TLC, “No Scrubs”  T-Boz, Left Eye, and Chilli didn’t have time for losers in 1999, and this anthem still applies today. A scrub is a guy who... just isn’t worth it! So stop settling and focus on your success.

3. Beyoncé, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)”  The single girl’s party classic of the new millennium. No further explanation needed.

2. Robyn, “Dancing On My Own” You know at least one person who has been in Robyn’s situation, and it’s a painful one, but is there anything more liberating than becoming one with the dance floor and simply killing it?

1. Gloria Gaynor, "I Will Survive" Ladies and men can both relate to this one, which is why it’s number one on this list. Ms. Gaynor does not have time for whining and crying, and neither should you.
