Oh wow. It looks like hip-hop fans are going to be broke after the first ten days of October.

Common and N.E.R.D. are already scheduled to perform at the Fillmore Miami Beach on October 10th which definitely sounds like a show that shouldn't be missed. And as of yesterday, it was announced that the Roots are playing just two days earlier on October 8th. So you might want to skimp and save come the last week of September.

If you caught the Roots' incredibly too short (not to be confused with Too $hort) set the last time they were in town with Erykah Badu earlier this year, chances are you're in the minority. Most people I talked to hadn't even arrived at the venue yet when the Roots' set was over at Mizner Park this past May. So here's a chance to see them again.

The best thing about this show is that West London phenom Estelle is also on the bill. She's made waves of late since signing to John Legend's Home School Records, dropping her American debut album, Shine, and getting write-ups in every glossy magazine you can think of. The truth is, she really is worth all the fuss and is a part of a very important rebirth of eccentric black female soul singers.

According to my counter part, Arielle Castillo, the worst part of this show is that the Gym Class Heroes are on the bill. To me, I don't mind the dudes. Aside from the fact that the group's lead singer, Travis McCoy looks like he's strung out on some really good drugs every time he's photographed, the fusion of hip-pop, rock, and funk-punk is kind of fun and definitely good for waking up people's senses.

So check out the details below, everything you need to know is there.
