The yearly "Think Pink Rocks" benefit concert at Mizner Park has traditionally been an urban music showcase, due to its partnership with SRC Records. With regulars Flo Rida, Melanie Fiona, Ray J, and Shontelle on the bill, the event's fourth installment is no exception.
However, some new blood is on the way! When November 5 rolls around, a local success story will take the stage too. Red-haired Brett Loewenstern, who appeared on the most recent season of American Idol, will take part in the performance, which goes to benefit breast cancer research charities. For those who need a quick intro to the teen singer, we have assembled a few choice clips below.
Here is his introduction to the American Idol family -- with his own family too. Clearly the show wanted to take a stand on bullying, and Loewenstern -- a self-proclaimed red apple in a bowl of green apples -- proved to be the one to help get that message across.
