You ever get all dancey in your kitchen? Everyone's sweaty, their limbs are flailing about in awkward and sexy ways, and you think to yourself, "Man, I wish I a new Prince song that sounded like an old Prince song on my iPod," before pressing play on "Erotic City?" Well, you're in luck, friend. A 54-year old YouTuber who goes by the handle WallyGroove leaked an unreleased track from 1982 called "Lust U Always." Thanks to Antiquiet.com for the post and WFMU for the tweet, we were able to listen to and now share this "new" song by the Purple One.
Antiquiet notes, "According to PrinceVault.com, 'Lust U Always' was originally recorded in 1982, around the same time that sessions for the 1999 LP were going on. While the track was never used for any Prince record, His Royal Badness did end up offering it to Mr. Robert Palmer in the late '80s but the singer turned it down." Click play on this bad boy quickly, in case someone in Minneapolis removes it from the interweb. Add to your iPod with pleasure.
