GTPS's Brian Breach gets his Lupe Fiasco on in the video for "Down The Block", the newest track to be released from his forthcoming mixtape Rap For Adults.
Kickin' and pushin' through a good ol' fashion park jam on a jangle-y slice of summertime boom bap produced by Wizard Sleeve's Lex One, Brian gets personal about his former passions of skateboarding and basketball, regrettable career moves and the death of his mom. Showing an honesty and introspection not often associated with his former rap life as Cynic, "Down The Block" begins to unfurl the concept behind Rap For Adults a little more clearer (clearer than say the NKTOB shower curtain silliness of "So I'm Cool Now")
The video, also shot and directed by Lex One, is the latest in a string of GTPS (a crew including Breach, Wizard Sleeve, Verbal Kush, Jessie Joynt and more) related releases to pop up in the last month -- see Mike Beatz "You Know" featuring Guilty Simpson & Lex and Verbal's new project Black Jew.
