AAA Offers Free Towing for New Year's Eve

Well, that's really nice! AAA auto club, in partnership with Bud Light, is offering free tow truck services for drunk people tonight.

It's part of the "Tow to Go" program that they offer on alcohol-centric holidays like Cinco de Mayo and Super Bowl Sunday. They say it's gotten 22,000 drivers off the roads since 1998.

The tow truck will bring home both car and driver to a place within a ten-mile radius. This service is available in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. No need to be a AAA member to take advantage.

It is, however, meant to be a last resort, so they'd prefer you don't put yourself in a too-drunk-and-need-to-drive position in the first place. There also could be a long wait if trucks are busy.
