The Democratic opponents to Rep. Allen West have ranked among the top fundraisers of all the congressional challengers during this election cycle -- and they're still getting drowned by the cash coming into the campaign of the Tea Party titan.

West's campaign announced today that he raised $1.9 million in the last quarter, bringing his grand total to more than $4 million.

The Democrats, Patrick Murphy and Lois Frankel, announced yesterday that they raised $313,000 and $415,000 over the last quarter, respectively.

The Democrats' totals -- both around $1.1 million, according to FEC filings -- are still short of what West raised in just the last quarter.

"The people of the 22nd Congressional District of Florida along with Americans from across the United States have heard our message and support a strong constitutional conservative in the House of Representatives," West says in his announcement. "Our country will always face challenges, but with principled, pragmatic, passionate and patriotic leadership, we will always emerge stronger as a nation and as a people."

West's campaign claims that 99.9 percent of this quarter's contributions to his campaign committee came from individual donors -- the quarter's FEC filings aren't due until the end of the week -- whereas 89 percent of his cash came from individuals in the first two quarters combined.

Eight percent of West's cash from those two quarters -- nearly $169,000 -- came from political action committees, according to analysis from Open Secrets.

West's camp says there were 42,100 individual contributors in the most recent quarter, donating an average of $47.

The congressman's fundraising total so far is more than $4.1 million, clearing the path for West to easily surpass his 2010 fundraising total of more than $6.5 million with just over a year left in this campaign cycle.

"The continuing grassroots support for the campaign in this quarter again confirms Congressman West's message is breaking through, and more and more people support what he has to say," West's campaign says. "Americans are tired of double-speak from the White House and Democrat leaders in Congress, and supporters find Congressman West's approach refreshing at a time when America needs a straight talker."
