Those vote tabulating machines are COMMUNISTS!

As we predicted earlier today, Allen West is not going quietly.

Even though the polls are closed, the ballots are counted, and the margin of victory for Patrick Murphy is outside any legal reason to require a recount, Allen West is demanding a recount.

Specifically, West and his campaign are demanding a recount in St. Lucie County. They're also claiming that the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections Office was complete chaos last night. Oh and that they're incompetent. Because, of course they are.

Or perhaps they meant NEFARIOUS?

Either way, West is gonna West. So here we are.

West's campaign manager, Tim Edson, released a statement on the whole thing:

"This race is far from decided and there is no rush to declare an outcome. Ensuring a fair and accurate counting of all ballots is of the utmost importance. There are still tens of thousands of absentee ballots to be counted in Palm Beach County and potential provisional ballots across the district."

The rest of the statement is a rambling mess, but the gist of is that at one point, West had a districtwide lead of about 2,000 votes but that the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections recounted thousands of early ballots. Edson also claims "irregularities" at the polls, such as polling places being locked, keeping the public from watching the counting procedures.

"Given the hostility and demonstrated incompetence of the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections," Edson's statement says, "we believe it is critical that a full hand recount of the ballots take place in St. Lucie County. We will continue to fight to ensure every vote is counted properly and fairly, and accordingly will pursue all legal means necessary."

So, as expected, this ain't over.

Even though it is.

West and his campaign are going to need some real proof and reason to go to court with this. But you can expect them to drag this out for as long as possible.

What else would you expect from a guy who literally thinks that everyone who disagrees with his politics is a Commie?

The Florida Democratic Party is saying the race was "a clear defeat" for West and that it's time for him to concede

Allen West's been teabagged, and he just can't handle the truth of it.
