Earl D. Coney Jr. is accused of having oral sex with a 16-year-old girl without telling her he is HIV-positive.
On August 28, Coney apparently picked the girl up from her home and brought her to his place, where he expressed a desire to have oral sex with her. She initially spurned his advances, but then was all, fine, just so that she could get him off her back, already.
She also said she would do it under the condition that Coney agreed to pay her overdue cell phone bill.
We're no lawyers, but we're pretty sure more than one law was broken during this brief little rendezvous.
When she got back home, the girl -- who is not identified in the police report -- told her sister that she had just had oral sex with Coney. Upon hearing this wonderful little anecdote of love, the girl's sister revealed that Coney is HIV-positive.
At first, when confronted about it, Coney was all, Hey, I am HIV-free! but then came back the next day and was all, No, yeah, I'm totally HIV-positive.
That's when the girl asked him to take her to the clinic. Her mother, meanwhile, called the cops.
According to the report, Coney told police that he knew the girl was 16 and that it's illegal to have sexual contact of any kind with a minor. He also admitted to authorities that he is HIV-positive and failed to notify the girl.
In his ongoing quest to show the world that that there is no greater act of love than when a man has unprotected sex with a minor without letting her know he has HIV, Coney also admitted that there was another 16-year-old he had oral sex with, so police are now investigating that as well.
Coney is being held at the Palm Beach County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. He is facing charges of unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
