I'm going to be on this panel, too -- just confirmed too late to get on the press release. It's tomorrow evening.

Hello, You are invited to SFBJA’s free public media workshop on Wednesday, March 12, starting at 6 p.m. at the Joseph Caleb Center, 5400 NW 22nd Ave. in Miami.

The workshop is an opportunity to educate community members on how to get their stories into South Florida media outlets and a platform for attendees to build a wider range of contacts with media personnel, nonprofit organizations, activists and businesspeople.

Panelists from TV, newspapers and magazines will be there, including Susan Candiotti of CNN; Brad Bennett of the Broward Times; Arlene Borenstein of NBC6; Natalie McNeal of The Miami Herald; Cheryl Mizell of 99 JAMZ; and Tony Lesesne of In Focus Magazine.

This is a can't-miss, information-packed event, so please spread the word among your friends and colleagues. If you have any questions or need more information, please do not hesitate to write back or call me at 954-356-4500.

Regards, Khari Williams SFBJA Vice President of Print
