Mark Sullivan, a 49-year-old man from Boynton Beach, has been charged with molesting his 11-year-old stepson.

According to the arrest affidavit by Boynton Beach police, Sullivan slept on the floor of his living room with the boy, then placed the boy's feet into his (Sullivan's) pants. In his own interview with investigators, Sullivan claimed that the boy -- who was not named -- initiated the act and that Sullivan had pushed him away.

The boy told investigators that a similar incident occurred last year when he said Sullivan "placed his hands on his 'butt'" while they were both in a tent in Sullivan's backyard.
