The Broward Sheriff's Office DUI Task Force will be out task-forcing Memorial Day weekend, Saturday and Sunday, along with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

BSO will have a Breath Alcohol Testing unit located along U.S. 1 and SE 17th Street Causeway in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday.

On Sunday, it will be located at John Lloyd State Park in Dania Beach.

The DUI Task Force will be conducting what it calls a "saturation patrol" starting Friday night at 11 until 3 a.m. Saturday.

A saturation patrol is exactly what it sounds like: Cops will be everywhere, and they'll be peeping for drunk drivers.

This means they're going to keep an extra-special lookout for what they're calling aggressive and impaired drivers.

In addition to that, the Fort Lauderdale Police Department announced road closures for the holiday weekend. You can see which roads are closed, and where you'll find detours, here.
