Brace yourself, everyone. South Florida is about to get all Planet Hoth on us with a cold front swooping in over the weekend that could be bringing temperatures as low as mid-50s.
So get ready to bust out those winter coats and boots...it's gonna be CRAZY.
An arctic blast is hitting the north eastern part of the U.S. starting Saturday, which will bring chilly temps down our way late in the weekend into Sunday.
Of course, it'll be mostly pleasant while the rest of the nation will be cold as balls. But, still. Fifty degrees is pretty serious down here.

— The Weather Channel (@weatherchannel) October 29, 2014Forecasters are saying that the front will have things dip into the low-to-mid 50s come Saturday night and into Sunday morning.
Sunday will be pretty nice, with lows in the 60s and highs in the low-to-mid 70s. The Weather Channel says that things could be as low as 51 on Sunday morning in parts of West Palm Beach.
But before the pleasant Fall weather rolls in, we're in for a little bit more of the kind of weather we're used to down here.
Scattered showers are expected to come in through Friday, with temps in the low-to-mid 90s. Early Saturday will also be hot.
But when the evening rolls around, in comes the front.
On top of that, things will be getting darker sooner this weekend as Daylight Saving Time ends at 2:00 a.m. Sunday.
Clocks will drop back one hour, meaning more sleep for us all while we're freezing!
Still, as it always is in South Florida, the cooler air will only be around for short time. Come Monday, things will get back to the usual warm temperatures, with nights in the upper 70s and more showers rolling in.
Still, it could be worse.
A good part of the rest of the country is bracing for frigid temps and snowfall. So while we're dusting off the old sweater for a couple of days, everyone else is getting ready to dig out their snow shovels and plows.
