Dania Casino & Jai-Alai is re-opening its doors Thursday night, and now it's got a lot more than just little dudes running around chasing a tiny ball with giant wicker baskets on their hands.
After several years of being closed, the newly christened Dania Casino is just that -- a casino. And it features 550 slot machines and 12 poker tables, to go along with the usual Jai-Alai.
Straight cash, homies!

An Argentine group of investors bought Dania Jai-Alai for a reported $6.5 million back in 2013, and have plans for turning the joint into a massive gaming facility.
The group spent about $20 million to add the first 550 slot machines, and plan on adding even more. The goal is to eventually house 1,400 slots.
They also plan to add hotels and a marina.
According to a press release from the group, Dania Beach Mayor Walter Duke is expected to be on hand during the 7:00 p.m. invitation-only event, where he'll head up a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Regular folks will be allowed in later.
The Chosen will then be ushered into the new facilities through a red carpet where they'll enjoy live music from a band, and be entertained by magicians.
And there will be champagne. Plenty of champagne. Also, hors d'oeuvres, which usually is just fancy talk for crackers and cheese, but will actually be something of quality here.
After all the pomp and circumstance are over with, the brand new Dania Casio & Jai-Alai will officially open to the public at 9:00 p.m.
Among the brand new amenities, are the aforementioned slot machines, as well as a 12 table glass walled poker room, a bistro and lounge bar and, of course, plenty of little dudes running around chasing a tiny ball with giant wicker baskets on their hands action.
