Donald Trump went after Hillary Clinton on Monday by using a term many consider to be vulgar and misogynistic. Speaking at a rally in Michigan, Trump ripped Clinton for delaying last weekend's Democratic presidential debate when she had to use the bathroom.

“I know where she went," he said. "I’s disgusting, I don’t want to talk about it.” Trump then made fun of the Clinton campaign's explanation for her delay, where they explained that the restroom she was using was far from the stage.

Wasn’t that a weird deal?" Trump rhetorically asked the audience.

But the Trump took things farther, describing Clinton's defeat against Barack Obama in the 2008 primaries by saying that she had been "schlonged."

"Even a race to Obama, she was gonna beat Obama," Trump said. "I don't know who would be worse, I don't know, how could it be worse? But she was going to beat — she was favored to win — and she got schlonged, she lost, I mean she lost."

The word schlong has always, for the most part, been a slang term for penis. It's originally a Yiddish word for penis.

The Clinton campaign's director of communications Jennifer Palmieri tweeted out a reaction to Trump's comments on Tuesday:

Trump, meanwhile, has been demanding an apology from Clinton over comments she made about how ISIS has been using video footage of Trump as a recruitment tool.

Clinton's remarks came during the debate, when she suggested that ISIS had been using Trump's rhetoric as a recruitment tactic to get radicals to join their group. Clinton had mentioned a video, but her campaign quickly squashed that comment, saying that there was no specific video but that the jihadists were mentioning Trump on social media.

The Clinton campaign responded to Trump's demands on Monday with a "hell no."

"Hell no. Hillary Clinton will not be apologizing to Donald Trump for correctly pointing out how his hateful rhetoric only helps ISIS recruit more terrorists," Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon said Monday.

The latest polls show Trump leading the GOP field in Florida, despite his rhetoric and bombastic approach.

Yet, according to a recent St. Leo University poll, Clinton leads Trump in Florida 48.9 percent to 41.2 percent. Her lead only widens when put up against the other Republican candidates.
