The FBI has confirmed that Lacoochee's Dougherty siblings -- who've been on the run since shooting at a Zephyrhills cop on August 4 -- were captured in Colorado today.
Lee Grace Dougherty, a 29-year-old stripper; Ryan Edward Dougherty, a 21-year-old sex offender; and Dylan Dougherty Stanley, their 26-year-old half-brother, were captured after a police chase in Pueblo County, Colorado, as the siblings were on their way to New Mexico.
Around 9 a.m. today, police received a tip from a citizen that they saw the three near Colorado City, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
The CSP says a deputy saw the siblings' vehicle leaving a campground, and that started a chase in which police say they were being shot at from the Doughertys' vehicle before their car crashed.
One of the brothers -- police haven't identified which one -- managed to run away from the crash while the other two siblings were arrested, but he was caught shortly thereafter.
The manhunt for the siblings started around 7 a.m. August 4, when police say the siblings fired 20 rounds at a Zephyrhills cop while they were driving around 100 mph and were able to get away after the officer's car was disabled by the shooting.
Just after noon that same day, the FBI says the three robbed a bank in Valdosta, Georgia, with an assault rifle and other guns and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The first sighting in Colorado was reported yesterday, and they were captured just over six days after their run from law enforcement began.
The siblings have been booked into the Pueblo County Jail.
