To my fellow wage slaves, making regular payments to a Social Security program that will never pay us back: Let's take comfort in the knowledge that our contributions are helping to finance the twinkle-toed retirement of ladies like octogenarian Lee Wachsetter. From Sunday's edition of the Toronto Sun:

A few years ago, as she found she was taking more and more cruises -- and always looking for a dance partners program on board -- she sold her house in Fort Lauderdale and adopted a life at sea. Her personal calling card reads: "Leona Wachstetter. Dancing, cruising, enjoying life."

"Mama Lee," as she's known to the crew, lives at sea -- every night doing the foxtrot with a new elderly gentleman. A feature of Crystal Cruises, these dance partners are called "ambassador hosts," and from the description, they sound like high-end, elderly escorts:

carefully screened gentlemen with interests and backgrounds similar to those of our guests. Each distinguished Ambassador Host is cultured, well traveled and an accomplished ballroom dancer.
