With the election just two weeks away, things got weird this week — with one survey showing Green Party candidate Jill Stein surging in South Florida and Donald Trump targeting Fort Lauderdale for what some say will be intimidation at the polls.

Trump pushed hard this week on claims that the election will be rigged, perhaps presaging his fall, and said his followers would monitor election locations in key locations across Broward County — including Fort Lauderdale. Indeed Brenda Snipes, the Broward County supervisor of elections, apparently forgot to put the marijuana question on some ballots, and failed primary candidate Tim Canova, who was edged out by U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, said the primary election results in his race were mathematically improbable.

Meanwhile, Green Party candidate Jill Stein, who is polling at only 2.5 percent nationally, seems to be drawing far more votes in Palm Beach County from frustrated voters. A canvas by a Green Party-promoted website showed that she drew more votes that either Hillary Clinton or Trump.
