Marckenson Chery, the 29-year-old Fort Lauderdale man who had cyber-sex sessions on Skype with a 15-year-old girl from San Francisco has been sentenced to 12 years in federal prison.
Last April, Chery, who went by the Skype name "Swag likeus Robinson," admitted to authorities that he met the girl online in late 2013 via an anonymous online chatting site called Omegle.
He then plead guilty to one federal charge of enticement of a minor, and awaited to hear his fate from U.S. District Judge Darrin Gayles on Wednesday.

At the time of Chery's arrest, federal agents from Homeland Security said that the victim's father discovered hundreds of messages between the Fort Lauderdale man and the girl, who lived in San Francisco. The girl's father discovered that the sessions had been going on for months, and that his daughter had told Chery multiple times that she was 15.
The victim's father then contacted the San Francisco police as well as federal agents from Homeland Security Investigations, and handed over the chats between Chery and the girl.
The investigation discovered 143 pages of cyber sex chats between the two. In the chats, Chery lied to the victim and told her that he was 21.
Chery and the girl eventually moved their cyber relationship from chatting to the video conferencing service Skype, which is free and accessible with a smartphone with a camera or a computer.
According to authorities, Chery had persuaded the 15-year-old to masturbate and show herself naked on Skype while he watched and pleased himself.
Chery was arrested on April 20 and appeared in federal court in Fort Lauderdale on May 12, where he pleaded not guilty to one charge of enticement of a minor.
On Wednesday, following a recommendation from both the prosecution and defense, Judge Gayles sentenced Chery to 12 years in federal prison. Ten years of supervised released was tagged on to that, and Chery will have to register as a sex offender. He will also be barred from having any contact with minors.
The Sun-Sentinel reports that Chery's attorney wrote in court documents that Chery had been "suffering from severe emotional depression since his personal financial collapse in 2009."
