The Florida State Seminoles throttled the Florida Gators 37-7 on Saturday. But that wasn't enough for one Noles fan, who apparently wanted to add injury to insult by trying to attack some Gator fans with a machete.

Ah, FSU and Gators games. It's like the Family Feud: Inbred Week!

According to Gainesville Police, Seminoles fan Brant W. Brown, 37, walked into the EndZone Bar and Grill on 1209 W University Ave. and approached a man and a woman who were arguing.

Brown then apparently invited the man to step outside to fight.

When other Gators fans tried to calm Brown down, he began challenging them all to step out into the parking lot to fight, according to the report.

Brown then went to his truck and retrieved a machete.

When the woman stepped out into the parking lot, Brown threatened her with it.

The bar's manager also came out to get Brown's description to give cops as he dialed 911. When Brown spotted the manager, he lunged at him with the machete. The manager ran away and called police.

Ever the sly one, Brown managed to somehow cover the license plate of his truck and drove off.

He got as far as Mother's Pub & Grill at 1017 W University Avenue, where he stepped out of his truck, with machete in hand.

Only one thing was going to put an end to this unstoppable maroon and gold machete welding force -- and that was a cop. A cop who happened to be a fellow Seminoles fan.

According to the report, an off-duty Pembroke Pines police officer calmed Brown down and kept him around until Gainesville police were able to get there and arrest him. The off-duty officer was wearing a Seminoles t-shirt.

Brown was promptly arrested on aggravated assault, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia charges.

Also, he was pretty wasted during the entire incident.
