Police are confirming that they searched through Justin Bieber's luggage for drugs at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Friday.

Apparently, the DEA got an anonymous tip that someone in Bieber's entourage had drugs stuffed away in their bags and passed it along to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

According to sheriff's spokeswoman Gina Carter, the tipster said that someone in the "entourage that Bieber was traveling with Friday night at Fort Lauderdale's airport, there would be some kind of substance in one of their bags."

Deputies with drug-sniffing dogs met Bieber and his crew and looked through the luggage and vehicles.

Fortunately for Bieber, 19, nothing was found.

Back in July, U.S. border authorities found marijuana on the pop star's tour bus as it was entering the United States from Canada. Bieber, who is Canadian, was not on the bus at the time.

Swedish police also found pot on a Bieber bus during his European tour back in April.

Again, the 19-year-old star wasn't onboard.

As police searched his bags and vehicles in the Fort Lauderdale airport, Bieber reportedly posed for photos with fans.

He was in town to hang out with Jay Z and comedian Kevin Hart.
