Update: Police have suspended their missing persons search after photos of Malika James surfaced. In these photos she was alone and appeared unharmed.

Malika James, 28, is a regular face in the Miami nightlife scene but has officially been missing for about 38 hours. James' father, Leonard, has filed a missing persons report with the Broward County Sherriff's Office and Pembroke Pines Police Department.
An extensive social media outreach effort has been made to track her down. She was last seen at Wood Tavern in Wynwood Saturday evening. Recent reports that she had been found Sunday night appear to be hearsay. Anyone with information is asked to contact police and James' father directly, as soon as possible.
According to Mr. James, Malika did return home Saturday morning around 9 a.m. to let a family friend into their shared residence for home repairs. She was reportedly upset as someone had hit her car and left a dent on the passenger side door. The family friend did see her and enter the house, but came out later to talk to her and found she had left.
Malika left her phone at home, but she did leave with her car. She drives a blue Ford Fiesta. Please note the car has a dent in the passenger side door.

She was reportedly seen by friends Saturday afternoon at Wood Tavern and left around 5 p.m. to work at Basel Castle down the street. She never appeared for work and has not been seen since.
