Beer is awesome.

Festivals are awesome.

IT'S ONLY NATURAL TO COMBINE THE TWO.

And that's exactly what's going down Saturday at the 17th-annual New Times' Original Beerfest, presented by Isle Casino.

What is Beerfest, exactly? Well, it's only a time when breweries from all over the U.S. convene in our backyard to give you a taste of their finest brews.

The festivities begin at 7 p.m. and run until 10 at Esplanade Park in Fort Lauderdale.

Along with wonderful brews and beautiful people, the fest will include a live performance from the Shane Duncan Band and Pandia.

And because you can't drink beer without something to nosh, there will be plenty of food as well.

Music, beer, food, and people reveling on a Saturday night. What's better than that?

Nothing. Nothing is the answer.

Here's what you need to know:

General-admission tickets for the fest cost just $30 at ticketfly.com That purchase includes unlimited beer sampling. All the beer you can drink for 30 bucks, awww yeahhh.

There's also a Brewmaster ticket available for $45 that gets you into the festival an hour earlier than everyone else so you can hoard all the beers for yourself. This ticket also gives you access to the VIP and Brewmaster beers. The VIP ticket also gets you free food.

Tickets will also be available at the door, but -- hot tip -- you might be better off buying them online, just in case it sells out.

So get out there early and make this weekend one to remember by drinking all of the beer.

The New Times' Original Beerfest presented by Isle Casinot runs from 7 to 10 p.m. at Esplanade Park, located at 400 SW Second St. in Fort Lauderdale. Bang it here for more info.
